Raspberry Lemonade Ice Cream Float Recipe
When I think summer, I always drift back to the sweet, tangy taste of lemonade. Always. Even better? Raspberry Lemonade. So, one day as we were sitting on the deck, I decided I wanted to try something a little different.
Raspberry Lemonade Ice Cream Float
Raspberry Lemonade Ice Cream Float. Yep. Sounds fabulous, right?! It is.
If you know me, you know that I am all about the quick and easy.
We live fast-paced and I like to have things be convenient. Not only that, but it is typically what works best for us.
When I am in the mood for something, I like to grab it out of the refrigerator or pantry and just go with it.
This was one of those cases.
I knew we had Raspberry Lemonade in the fridge. We almost always do unless it’s close to time to buy groceries again. We drink it often.
And ice cream? Our kids are made of that stuff. Ha!
But, yes, I was surprised we had that as well. I had all I needed for my newest cold and tart ice cream float idea.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Raspberry Lemonade (made fresh or store-bought)
- 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
- Reddi Whip (optional)
- 1 lemon, sliced (optional)
Directions:
- Scoop vanilla ice cream into a glass.
- Pour Raspberry Lemonade over ice cream. Blend with a fork to gently break apart ice cream.
- Garnish with Reddi Whip, a little lemon zest and slice of lemon, if desired.
- Serve cold.
See? Told you! Easy as… well… a Raspberry Lemonade Float!
Anyone can do this… and it’s a hit with the kids too. No reason we can’t give ourselves a treat every now and then.
Enjoy!
