Copycat Chick-fil-A Lemonade Recipe

I have an affinity for lemonade. Not just any lemonade though. Chick-fil-A lemonade. It is simply amazing. The perfect blend of tart and sweet. And I have yet to taste a bad cup of it.

But the closest Chick-fil-A is about 15 minutes from home, so we do not get there often. Therefore, Colby and I decided we wanted to try and imitate the recipe as close as we could. At least we knew we really only needed 3 things to get started.

If you look at Chick-fil-A’s website, it clearly lists the ingredients of its lemonade simply as:

Water, freshly squeezed lemon juice, sugar.

That’s it. Nothing else. You simply have to come up with the right blend of each of these 3 ingredients.

After some trial and error, we came up with this Copycat Chick-fil-A Lemonade Recipe. And I must add, it tastes pretty close to the original.

Works for me at least!

Lemonade ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 8-10 lemons (based on size)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 5 ¼ cups of water

Directions:

  1. Cut lemons in half and prepare to juice.
  2. Using juicer or manual strength, juice lemons until you have 1 ½ cups of lemon juice.

  3. Add sugar to lemon juice and whisk until dissolved.
  4. Add lemon and water mixture to water and whisk until well blended.
  5. Serve cold. Enjoy!

Simple enough, right?! I believe Colby has made it enough times now that he has perfected it. Monkey loves to help him squeeze the lemons and I benefit from the lemonade.

Lemonade is a natural detox drink. It works as a cleanser and rids your body of waste and toxins. This is an excellent way for me to kick start my journey to better health.

Of course, everything in moderation… but it can be so hard when it tastes so good.
