We still don’t know the percentage of leukemia cells in her bone marrow. Will we go to CAR-T or bone marrow transplant after this round.
Our biggest concern about the results is still the myeloids. Best case scenario is that they do not show AML cells. We honestly just want good news in the next few days.
The FISH results from last week’s biopsy show 15% ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) cells in her bone marrow.
Platelets are up! Liver numbers are down. ANC is slowly rising. Please continue to keep Avery in your thoughts this week. It’s a big one!
Our 4 weeks in this room was almost up, so they’ve officially moved us to the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit in preparation for CAR-T Therapy.
After a groggy start (due to her biopsy) and a few good naps, she had a really good afternoon and evening for a string finish to her day!
Late last night, Mom was texting because Avery was having a rough night. She’s been uncharacteristically tired. Not lethargic, just fatigued.
7 months old today! Avery likes cuddles with blankets, long walks, being thrown in the air, bananas, and Super Simple Songs.
We need her numbers up before Thursday’s biopsy. In the meantime, we’ll just keep playing and keeping on… keeping on.
