Happily Ever Avery // Girl’s Day at the Hospital
Mom and I had a Girl’s Day at the hospital with Avery while Dad played with Big Sis today. Overall, we had a fabulous Friday!
Our granddaughter was diagnosed with Pre B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the age of 7 weeks. Follow her journey as we, her family, choose to stay positive as we continue to believe in our Happily Ever Avery.

The morning Lumbar Puncture combined with the afternoon chemo medications make for a miserable baby. Nausea + pain.
Avery is doing her best to sit up unaided. Her Physical Therapist is going to find exercises to get her on her knees to crawl.
Did you know today is National Superhero Day? I can’t think of anyone mightier to honor today besides our sweet Avery as she fights Leukemia.
Mom’s allergies were kicking her booty this morning, so out of an abundance of caution, I went to the hospital for an “Avery and Ma” day.
Monday Mood with this girl. You honestly can’t tell by looking at her (most days) that she’s fighting so hard to rid her body of Leukemia.
