Happily Ever Avery // Breaking Down Thiopurines (6-TG)
Most people have no problem breaking down thiopurines. A small percentage, have almost no ability to break down these medicines.
Our granddaughter was diagnosed with Pre B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the age of 7 weeks. Follow her journey as we, her family, choose to stay positive as we continue to believe in our Happily Ever Avery.

Still in-patient. Her pre-BMT appointments are still being done, so hopefully we can remain on schedule for her transplant.
You never know when the effects of your cancer, your chemo, or anything else will hit. Therefore, she’ll be inpatient while they seek answers.
Preliminary lab results and CT scans look good, still unsure of the cause of today’s episode. They’ll keep observing and drawing labs to monitor her overnight.
