Happily Ever Avery // The Wait Begins… Again
And now the wait begins… again. Her Oncologist put in a rush order, but, unfortunately, some of these results take a few days to come in.
Our granddaughter was diagnosed with Pre B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the age of 7 weeks. Follow her journey as we, her family, choose to stay positive as we continue to believe in our Happily Ever Avery.

Okay, not exactly big news to most, but we were all very excited when we discovered that Avery has her first tooth yesterday.

Her Bridging Chemo includes a daily oral medicine that triggers a “death switch” the cancer cells plus Vincristine, Dexamethasone, and PEG.
The hope is bring her MRD (Minimal Residual Disease) way down in order to give her a greater chance at NOT having a relapse down the road.
This week has been an anxiety-ridden nightmare. We finally got a call this morning from the CAR-T team: REMISSION!
