Happily Ever Avery // We Just Want Good News
Our biggest concern about the results is still the myeloids. Best case scenario is that they do not show AML cells. We honestly just want good news in the next few days.
Our granddaughter was diagnosed with Pre B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the age of 7 weeks. Follow her journey as we, her family, choose to stay positive as we continue to believe in our Happily Ever Avery.

The FISH results from last week’s biopsy show 15% ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) cells in her bone marrow.
Platelets are up! Liver numbers are down. ANC is slowly rising. Please continue to keep Avery in your thoughts this week. It’s a big one!
Our 4 weeks in this room was almost up, so they’ve officially moved us to the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit in preparation for CAR-T Therapy.
After a groggy start (due to her biopsy) and a few good naps, she had a really good afternoon and evening for a string finish to her day!
Late last night, Mom was texting because Avery was having a rough night. She’s been uncharacteristically tired. Not lethargic, just fatigued.
7 months old today! Avery likes cuddles with blankets, long walks, being thrown in the air, bananas, and Super Simple Songs.
We need her numbers up before Thursday’s biopsy. In the meantime, we’ll just keep playing and keeping on… keeping on.
Another FriYAY and her sweet smile tells you so much. No chemo meds. We’re now waiting for her numbers to rise.
Avery’s medical team met today and made a few audibles in her therapy going forward; they’ve decided to stop chemo.
