Because we are in Texas, we have to try everything on the grill at least once, right? Recently, we decided that pizza on the grill sounded like a great idea. Pretty sure the kids agreed once we brought out Hormel® Pizza Ready™.
Pizza on the Grill
I have to admit, the kids would most likely eat pizza cooked any which way. But, they were excited about trying it on the grill. Of course, I think they really just get a big kick out of the opportunity to make their own pizza. They love to get in the kitchen and make a mess… er… masterpiece meal. Seriously though, they do it well and quality family time is always a bonus.
As I mentioned, Hormel® Pizza Ready™ makes it easy. With several meat and sauce varieties, each member of the family can easily customize their own pizza. No complaining about not wanting this topping or too much sauce. You make your own pizza. Problem solved. Great for families, like ours, where each child has such different tastes when it comes to food.

Not to mention, the Rustic White Flatbread makes a perfect crust for grilling. Make sure your grates are clean, add a little olive oil to the bottom of your flatbread then cook directly on the hot grill. Close lid to cook until golden brown. Flip and cook other side the same way. Add sauce, cheeses, and toppings to flatbread crust and close lid once again. Cook until cheese is melted. Remove the pizza to cool and then enjoy!
Dinner is served and everyone can be happy with their own personal grilled pizza!
