We Test Drove the 2022 Genesis G70 RWD 3.3T Sport Prestige

We took the 2022 Genesis G70 RWD 3.3T Sport Prestige for a test drive recently. This 4-door sedan has an athletic look and feel.

It presents itself as domineering and powerful with its low stance and distinctive front grille. The G70 was fun to drive. Here is what I liked the most.

Powerful and Responsive

The turbocharged engine with 8-speed automatic transmission and steering wheel paddle shifters are ready to take on the road. The 3.3L Twin-Turbo V6 engine boasts of 365 horsepower.

The G70 has a low center of gravity and adjustable sport suspension to better hug the road making it very responsive at the steering wheel. Likewise, the Brembo brakes respond quickly with a tap of the foot. This is a confident rear-wheel-drive car to operate.

Upscale Interior

The cabin of the G70 Sport is trimmed with aluminum and features the geometric Sport Pattern that reflects and diffuses light beautifully.

The seats are upholstered in Nappa leather with a unique diamond quilted pattern that makes sliding in and out of the car easy, not to mention the comfort for both driver and passengers.

Complete Safety Package

Genesis does take safety seriously and the G70 features a loaded suite of standard, active, and passive safety systems. Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist detects approaching vehicles and pedestrians and applies the brakes.

Lane Keeping Assist protects you and your vehicle from unintentional lane changes. Safe Exit Warning and a center airbag add extra measures to the standard safety features.

Exterior Styling

Along with the sleek lines of the elegant body, the G70 brings new life to an imposing front grille design that is flanked by parabolic lines that resemble a crouching sprinter preparing to run. The lines continue to sweep around the body, making this sedan extremely easy on the eyes.
