Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme: Product Review 2022
Is Supreme a great pool cleaner? The quick answer is yes.
But if you’re concerned about its value for its high initial price, that’s a different story.
Many tech review sites say that Dolphin® is the best pool robot. In many departments, like power and performance, it’s true. But not in all aspects (sorry for spilling the beans this early!).
Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme: Product Overview
The Supreme effectively cleans the pool’s floors, walls, and waterline. While many robotic pool cleaners only work on the floors and walls, this model takes things to the next level by also scrubbing the waterline.
This product comes with MyDolphin Plus App which controls it at a certain distance. Using this app is pretty simple. It allows you to configure the functions and settings available.
The app and the robot communicate with each other through a WiFi connection. You can maximize the efficiency of the device as long as you are connected to the WiFi through your smartphone.
There are many functions the MyDolphin Plus App offers. You can turn on the machine, set a custom cleaning schedule, and take direct control of the robotic pool cleaner, allowing you to spot clean some parts of the pool.
Each of the features and settings is helpful since it gives you complete control over how the robotic pool cleaner operates.
The Supreme has three cleaning modes: “Quick,” “Standard,” and “Enhanced.” All these modes are accessible via the app and allow you to clean your swimming pool in various ways. Understanding your pool’s water needs will tell you what cleaning mode to choose.
With the “Quick Clean” mode, the machine will clean the pool’s floor only. You can use the option if you need a rapid clean. On the other hand, “Standard Clean,” allows you to clean all surfaces.
If you want an in-depth pool cleaning, “Enhanced Clean” will help you achieve it. This setting ensures that the muddy water in your swimming pool is properly washed and cleaned.
The Supreme uses a few distinct technologies to clean your pool, allowing the cleaner to fully scrub and clean your pool.
One of the most important parts of this device is the brush system. This system has three brushes that scrape out dirt and algae on different surfaces of the pool.
These brushes need strong motors to do their job effectively. The Supreme cleaner is powered by a strong combination of motors that allow the machine to travel around the various surfaces and parts of the pool while controlling the brushes to move quickly.
When dirt and sludge have been scraped off the surface, the motor allows it to be drawn into the robotic pool cleaner and tossed into the filter system.
When the cleaning cycle is complete, you can take out the cartridges and remove the dirt.

Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme: Pros
The cleaning performance of the Supreme is exceptional. This robot is designed to ensure excellent cleaning every time.
The Nautilus CC Supreme has dual cyclone motors that power three active brush rolls. The front and rear brushes can remove algae and grime from the pool’s base and sides, while the center brush sweeps trash into the suction intake.
The Nautilus CC Supreme’s triple-threat, powerful scrubbing action is unrivaled by anything from any brand.
The Supreme has an IntelliScan Technology which uses several sensors to generate a digital blueprint.
It then employs complex calculations to create the most effective cleaning path. This strategy ensures that every second spent underwater is not wasted on several runs over the same spot.
The device’s innovative anti-tangle swivel cord allows the robot to twist and spin without breaking the cord.
The power cord is long enough to allow for unrestricted movement underwater in pools up to 50 feet long.
When combined with the high-traction wheels, the cleaner can easily climb pool walls and steps.
The Supreme can be controlled using an app on a mobile phone. The app allows you to do the following:
- Command the robot to do an action;
- Start and stop;
- Schedule a weekly cleaning program;
- Manual steering;
- And so much more…
Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme: Cons
The current price of Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme is $1,499. Compared with other brands, this is expensive.
Struggles with Larger Debris
If you have a pool surrounded by trees, this model is not for you. Its filtration system is not designed to trap bigger debris such as plant twigs and leaves.
The cartridges have a smaller capacity compared to other Dolphin models. Because of their size, the cartridges can be easily filled up which means you need to pause the cleaning to remove the debris. This prolongs the cleaning time since you need to keep on removing the debris before the robot can effectively clean again.
Connectivity Issues with the App
Some users reported that they experience connectivity issues especially if the pool is far from the WiFi source.
The 24 pounds weight may not look that much. But when you pull the device out of the water, it is a bit heavy despite the quick-release ports on the bottom.
That’s our product review complete with the pros and cons of Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme. If you will ask us for our take on this product, we would advise you to go for it if you have the money. In general, this item is powerful enough to work on any type of pool.
