Six Flags Wet Ones

A Day at Six Flags Over Texas with Wet Ones

Disclosure: I wrote this review while participating in a campaign for Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Wet Ones. I received free admission to Six Flags, attended an informational and complimentary luncheon, and received a gift bag and promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.

Growing up, I attended Six Flags Over Texas one time. I remember being dropped off with my mom, brother and sister, and having the whole day to spend there. But it was just that one day. I do not remember going back until I was in high school. And then it was while Colby and I were dating. Now? We typically get season passes and go often.

Six Flags Over Texas

When MomCentral invited me to Six Flags Over Texas with Wet Ones I was thrilled to get the chance. Only our teenagers got season passes this year, so my younger girls were itching to go. They were more than delighted when I told them we would be spending the day riding rides and enjoying the park.

Upon arriving, we spent a little time having a dance party with Bugs Bunny and Sylvester while we waited for the rest of our group to arrive. In fact, I even posted my first Instagram video that morning of the girls dancing. Now that we were up and moving, we were excited to get going on our tour with the rest of the ladies and their families.

As we walked through the theme park, we discovered several areas where we could use Wet Ones. Wet Ones are official sponsors at Six Flags Over Texas and you can see the signs everywhere. These Wet Ones® Antibacterial Hand Wipes are perfect companions inside the park. For instance, the park is famous for its popular cold treat, the Pink Thing. Apparently you can only get the frozen delicacy at this particular park. And if you have ever had one, you know that afterwards a Wet One wipe would come in super handy.

Another great amusement park food is the funnel cake. And just past the Pink Thing, you could get yourself a funnel cake loaded with powdered sugar, whipped cream, strawberries and more. I can assure you that Wet Ones are absolutely necessary after eating a funnel cake. Especially if it’s windy outside.

As we walked through Looney Tunes Land, specially themed for children, we discussed other areas and situations where we could use the antibacterial wipes:

  • door knobs
  • water fountains
  • amusement park rides
  • bathroom

All those places that person after person touches and uses while at the park.

Lunch was served at JB’s Smokehouse and, after wiping our hands with the Wet Ones, we began eating and enjoying the conversation. But, right after lunch there was more fun to be had. Karaoke!

Yep, my girls actually got up and performed. They decided to sing, “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen. Not bad either.

As the day wound down,  we made our way back to Looney Tunes Land and enjoyed a few more rides before we were done for the day. On our way home my Princess fell asleep and JJ was pretty quiet. I think the day was successful and completely wore them out.

When soap and water are not available, Wet Ones® Antibacterial Hand Wipes are an effective alternative to clean hands and prevent the spread of germs. Wet Ones® Antibacterial Hand Wipes are proven to be just as effective as gel hand sanitizers in killing 99.99 percent of germs, but they also clean better than hand sanitizer gels, wiping away dirt and messes without drying out skin like alcohol-based hand sanitizers.

The Wet Ones® Antibacterial Hand Wipes are available in two fragrances, Fresh and Citrus Scent, as well as Sensitive Skin Hand Wipes… and all come in three convenient forms:

  1. 40 count canister, which is designed to fit into a standard car cup holder
  2. 15 count travel pack
  3. 24 count box of individually wrapped single wipes

Where do you find you need the Wet Ones Antibacterial Hand Wipes most?
