Encanto: The Sing-Along Concert Tour

Does Encanto play over and over again at your house? Does the soundtrack loop on Spotify? It certainly does at our house!

During Avery’s fight with Leukemia, especially during her bone marrow transplant recovery, Disney’s Encanto was one of the main movies that got her through the long hospital stay.

Still today, we watch/listen to Encanto a couple times a day. Fortunately, it’s a great movie so we don’t mind it at all.

Encanto: The Sing-Along

Avery (and Big Sister) don’t know it yet, but we’re taking them to the Encanto: The Sing-Along Concert Tour next weekend!

While in Mexico this week, we even bought them both traditional Mexican dresses to wear. (yes, we know the movie is set in Colombia, but it’s the best we could do)

Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Academy Award®-winning film comes to life in a one-of-a-kind concert event, featuring the entire feature-length film and an on-stage band celebrating all the record-breaking hit songs from the beloved soundtrack.

The 31-city tour kicks off on Thursday, July 21 in Concord, CA, making stops across the U.S. in Phoenix, Dallas, Tampa and more before wrapping up in Chicago, IL on Saturday, August 28th.

Will there be live characters?

Live characters do not appear. There is a band of approximately 10 musicians performing all of the hit songs in sync with the film live on stage.

You will still hear the original character voices that you know and love from the soundtrack in sync with the film on the big screen.

Am I supposed to sing along?

Absolutely! Audience participation is highly encouraged. On-screen lyrics will be provided to help with the words, if needed.

Is the concert family-friendly?

Yes! Audience members of all ages are welcome to join in the fun and are encouraged to sing along throughout the concert.
