She doesn’t have very many WBCs left, so they expect that number to continue dropping on its own as they look at each blood test number.

Avery cries when they change her. They believe her back is hurting. She was given Tylenol this morning and is now sleeping.
Avery received platelets around 1am and will have another this morning to get her count above 100 as they are prepping for chemo today.
I know our main focus is on Avery’s health and well-being, as it should be, but please keep her Big Sister in your thoughts and prayers as well.
They are still talking about the possibility of another LP (lumbar puncture/spinal tap) tomorrow before they start the new chemo medicines.
Current hospital policy, due to COVID, only allows one parent. They’re trying to balance the delicacy of having an infant with cancer and being fair and safe for the other patients.
