Pepperoni Monkey Bread

Pepperoni Monkey Bread Recipe with Country Crock

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Unilever and Country Crock®. All opinions are 100% my own.

What is your easiest lunch recipe for the kids? I noticed one day that my teenage son was eating pizza rolls. Like… all the time. So, I decided to come up with a better option for him. After some thought, I put together a list and went to the store. I then came home prepared with ingredients to make Pepperoni Monkey Bread.

Yep, since I am a big fan of the cinnamon variety, I thought it would be fun to try Pepperoni Monkey Bread. Therefore, we sat out all of our ingredients and began to figure out the best method together. Colby and the middle two girls helped me, and we were quite pleased with our results. Just take a look at how simple it really was.

Pepperoni Monkey Bread ingredients

Ingredients:

  • Country Crock® spread
  • Pepperoni slices
  • Mozarella (Pizza Blend) Cheese
  • Marinara sauce
  • Biscuits
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Basil leaves
  • Garlic powder

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to temperature found on biscuit packaging.
  2. Melt Country Crock spread and use to lightly grease bundt pan. Add basil leaves and garlic powder to taste… set aside.
  3. Open biscuits, cut in half, and lay apart.
  4. Cut pepperoni slices in half and set aside.
  5. Fill each biscuit half with a pepperoni slice and pinch of cheese (add more/less pepperoni and cheese per your taste). Pepperoni rolls cheese
  6. Pinch biscuit sides together to close in ingredients. Roll into a ball.
  7. Drop each bread roll into bundt pan. Continue until all biscuits or ingredients are gone.
  8. Using a pastry brush, generously brush melted Country Crock onto the bread balls. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Pepperoni Monkey Bread
  9. Cook in over per biscuit packaging. Pepperoni Pizza Bread should be a golden brown when finished.
  10. Flip and remove from bundt pan. Sprinkle top of monkey bread with Parmesan cheese, as needed.
  11. Serve with a bowl of marinara sauce for dipping.

There you have it! A super easy, bit more flavorful, lunch time recipe for kids. Plus, these little bread bites taste much better than traditional pizza rolls, in my opinion, and are a bit healthier.
