Happily Ever Avery // Finally a Good Stretch of Sleep
Avery slept in her crib for about 4 hours, so Mom & Dad were able to get a good stretch of sleep for the first time too.
Our granddaughter was diagnosed with Pre B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the age of 7 weeks. Follow her journey as we, her family, choose to stay positive as we continue to believe in our Happily Ever Avery.
Avery slept in her crib for about 4 hours, so Mom & Dad were able to get a good stretch of sleep for the first time too.
We cannot say enough “thank yous” for the outpouring of love and support we received thus far in this journey.
The oncologist said she couldn’t look better than she does right now. They’re very optimistic and all of Avery’s numbers look pretty good.
No big changes happening this weekend. The main thing the team wants to avoid is any chance of infection so they are taking precautions now.
The nurse said the lab is most likely closed today, but their oncologist is on-call tonight and said she’ll let them know if she hears anything. Otherwise, we’re still waiting until tomorrow at least for more news.
They have just been moved into their room and out of ICU. Avery’s oxygen is off and the IV in her foot and hand come out soon!
