Happily Ever Avery // Avery’s Journey is Changing
As we discovered last week, Avery’s journey is changing. The transition to CAR T therapy means a few changes are coming.
Our granddaughter was diagnosed with Pre B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the age of 7 weeks. Follow her journey as we, her family, choose to stay positive as we continue to believe in our Happily Ever Avery.
As we discovered last week, Avery’s journey is changing. The transition to CAR T therapy means a few changes are coming.
The last 24 hours have been mostly quiet for Avery, so Mom & Dad were able to focus on Big Sister for National Sibling Day.
The hospital gave me a one-day pass to come up so Mom & Dad could spend the day with Big Sis. I get to hold my sweet baby!
Avery is feeling much better and has no signs of infection! The fluids, antibiotics, pain meds and sleep have all helped get her well again.
Avery slept well last night, seems to be getting much better, and is weaning off of her pain medicines. We’re focusing on the positives.
Avery is back at Children’s Dallas. Now we countdown towards her cell harvesting procedure and pray for no roadblocks before CAR T therapy.
