You’ve Got This Mom – Happy Mothers Day

Disclosure: This post is compensated and in collaboration with Latina Bloggers Connect and JOHNSON’S Baby. All opinion are 100% my own.

Do you know a new mom in need of encouragement this Mothers Day? I know that my Facebook feed is full of baby smiles and toes. I love seeing all of the babies. They just seem to have a way of making me feel good inside.

Happy Mothers Day

Now, do you know a mom who will celebrate their first Mother’s Day? I can think of two in particular. And to both of them I simply want to send a little shout out:

Happy Mothers Day

I mean, what new mom does not have a bit of spit up on their shoulder every now and then?

The two moms I am referring to were both teenagers in our first youth group we ministered to. It is so amazing watching these teens grow up and marry… most of them to other youths within the group. Therefore, we have watched a at least 5 couples emerge from within the youth group, marry, and have children of their own over the past 10 years.

Each of them hold a special place in our hearts and these two young ladies in particular. I have been able to give them baby gifts and enjoy knowing I am here to offer advice when needed. But, honestly, I think they both have it down. The babies are growing, look healthy, appear happy, and are meeting their milestones. What more could a parent ask for? I simply wish I could be closer and hold the babies more often. But, to both of you…

You’ve Got This, Mom! Happy 1st Mother’s Day!
