Albertsons Stock Up Sale is still going on! Have you been yet? There are so many great deals and we are taking advantage. In fact, Colby (since he is the one that does the shopping) sat down with the ad and made his dinner menu in no time.
Meal Plan with Albertons
I mentioned in my tips for grocery shopping with kids that when you meal plan and go to the store with a list, things tend to go a bit smoother. I absolutely refuse to go grocery shopping without a list. I need the organization and feel like I am walking aimlessly without a plan of action. Therefore, I was proud of Colby for sitting down and putting together the meal plan by himself this week since I am traveling. We needed to cover 4 nights of dinners and he was able to get them all completed before heading to the store to shop.
Family Dinner Meal Plan
Based on the sales he was able to find in the #StockUpSale ad, and the working to appease our picky eaters, he came up with the following meal plan:
T-Bone Steak, Baked Potatoes, Earthbound salad, Fresh Tomatoes, Bell Pepper, Carrots, Blue Bell Ice Cream
Crockpot meal Hormel Pork Tenderloin, McCormick Spices, Earthbound Salad, Fresh Tomatoes, Bell Pepper, Carrots
Fresh 85% lean ground beef, Skinner pasta, Hunts Spaghetti Sauce, Ghirardelli Brownie Mix
Fresh 85% lean ground beef, King’s Hawaiian Rolls, Lays potato chips, Coke, Fudge Brownies
The kids have to love the fact that Dad includes a dessert each night after dinner. Must be because Mom is going to be gone and they deserve a treat! Ha!
Albertsons Stock Up Sale
In addition to the meal plan, we have also been able to make a fall trail mix with the mix and match sale, as well as stock up our pantry with staples such as sugar. Our pantry is beginning to get full and we are looking forward to seeing the next round of sales.
