Disney disclosure

There’s a certain element of elegance that accompanies ABC’s Dancing With the Stars. After my second visit to a live taping, I am beginning to appreciate the sophistication, as well as excitement, of the show. There truly is nothing like being there and watching the dancers glide across the dance floor right in front of you. It’s magical to say the least.

Upon arrival, we are escorted to our seats on the balcony. High upon the ballroom floor, we can easily watch all of the dancers move around as they compete for the trophy. My personal favorite is Bindi Irwin, and her final dance of the evening last Monday was incredible. The trio with her regular partner, Derek Hough, as well as Mark Ballas, that incorporated an amazing light and rope display was simply fabulous! Yes, the other dancers were remarkable as well (did you see Carlos swinging on a rope?) but Bindi was still my favorite. I definitely have a soft spot for her and was so worried when she was in the bottom two! Time to vote more!

The entire experience is one you don’t forget soon. From the refined look of the dance floor to the grace shown by the dancers and the beautiful style of the costumes, there is so much to take in and enjoy. Even before the show begins, the audience is invited down on the floor to dance and the party begins before the cameras ever start rolling. Each commercial break brings anticipation as you watch the stage crew break down and set up the next set of props. Everything is perfectly set in motion and flows flawlessly as an entire team work quickly to keep the show moving. It’s such an astonishing display to see and then watch on television afterward!

Now TODAY, Monday, November 23 at 8pm ET, each of the four Dancing With the Stars finalists will compete in two rounds of dance. In the first round, one judge will help each couple choose the creative elements of each dance, which is a re-do to a new song. Whereas in the second round, in one of the biggest competitive dances of the season, the couples take on a freestyle dance featuring special effects, additional dancers and unexpected surprises.

Not to mention, there will be special performances from Meghan Trainor, singing “Like I’m Gonna Lose You,” and Who Is Fancy, Ariana Grande and Meghan Trainor performing “Boys Like You.” But, at the end of the night, the couple with the lowest combined viewer and judge votes from the previous two weeks will still be eliminated.

On Tuesday, November 24 at 9pm ET, the three finalists will advance to the final stage of the competition in a two-hour season finale. There will be live dancing and show-stopping performances at the Grove shopping center and in the Dancing With the Stars ballroom. The night kicks off with a high-energy opening number, featuring a reunion of all 13 of this season’s couples. At the end of the night, the winner of the coveted Mirrorball trophy will be announced!
