After a pretty action-packed day of pool play at the Southwest Elite 7on7 Showcase, the teams were ready for a little fun Friday evening. Tim Tebow was speaking at the iNFLUENCER Rally that night and it was a full house. Th fact that hew would give us leadership quotes for life application was a given. But first, the night’s activities kicked off with an incredibly talented singer that quickly became one of my favorites that night: Coffey Anderson.

Coffey Anderson

Coffey Anderson

Not only did Coffey Anderson get on stage and sing a few songs (covers and great parodies of popular songs), but he also talked to us between each one. A little of his life story and growing up in Texas. Some of his road to being on the stage. And a bit of everything in between. Such a great, humble, God-fearing man who was a pleasure to both meet and chat with. Here are a few quotable moments from Coffey’s time on stage:

Truly a delight to listen to. Watch his videos on his GodTube channel and see what I mean.

Tim Tebow

Tim Tebow

Having a small glimpse of Tim Tebow on Thursday night, I was interested to hear more. He offered many great inspirational tweets:

I think my favorite part of Tim Tebow’s speech came when he spoke about the John 3:16 under his eyes during games.

In the 1st game that Tim Tebow wore John 3:16 on national TV, there were 94 million Google searches for it. 3 yrs later, same date, every single one of his stats from the game were “316.” And 90 million people Googled John 3:16. That is how big our God is!

Leadership Breakfast

Champions of Leadership Breakfast

I was not sure what to expect from the Champions of Leadership Breakfast, but it ended up being one of my favorite parts of the event. The panel consisted of 5 amazing men:

    1. Mike Beebe, Arkansas Govenor
    2. Bill Simon, President and CEO of Walmart U.S.
    3. Brian Cornell, CEO of Pepsico
    4. Herm Edwards, ESPN NFL studio analyst
    5. Lt. General Leroy Sisco, Military Warriors Support Foundation

There was a continuous stream of tweetable leadership quotes taken from this breakfast. Here is a small sampling:

Told you! So many great nuggets for our lives. I left that breakfast feeling both inspired and empowered. It was an amazing panel of great leaders and I enjoyed being able to spend time getting to know more about them… and sharing them with you.
