If there is one thing we know in Texas, it’s barbecue… anything. And my husband will grill no matter what the weather outside is like. Yes, even in the freezing rain he has stood over his grill. So naturally, making his own homemade barbecue sauce was a given.
Homemade Barbecue Sauce
But, in true style around here, Colby wanted to make an easy recipe. One that he could make out of ingredients here at the house at any time. That means using things we typically keep on hand. Looking through the pantry he found everything needed to create a basic barbecue sauce. He was happy… and I was hungry.
Are you ready for this? Fortunately, the recipe is is seriously nothing more than combining all of the ingredients together. A few things in a bowl, mix, and you’re ready to cook. You really can’t get easier than that, right? Okay, well, other than buying a bottle of BBQ sauce at the store. But, for this purpose, let’s pretend we just want to make it ourselves!
You are now ready for all those summer barbecues. Throw some brisket, chicken, fajitas… whatever you like on the grill… and start cooking. Enjoy!
