Through Homewood Suites’ new “Home Cooked Meals” program, guests will be offered discounted access – an approximate 20% savings – to PeachDish’s service. Guests can go online and pre-order ready-to-cook meals prior to their stay. PeachDish will then deliver pre-portioned ingredients to prepare fresh, seasonal meals for cooking in their suite’s fully-equipped kitchen. Choosing between two serving options — for 2 to 4 people — and four menu selections, guests can easily plan for the full length of their stay. Additionally, Homewood Suites guests will receive promotional pricing on a PeachDish Starter Kit which includes extra virgin olive oil, kosher sea salt and fresh whole tellicherry pepper with a complimentary pepper mill.

Looking over the meals as we planned our recent staycation at Homewood Suites, the toughest part was choosing a meal. They all looked fabulously delicious but I only needed a meal for one night. We decided on the Beef Hot Pot with Asian Greens, Ginger and Potatoes. When we opened the door to our spacious family suite, we immediately noticed the PeachDish delivery waiting for us. The kids could not wait to open it up and get cooking!

Inside the refrigerated box, there were all the ingredients we needed to create the tantalizing meal we ordered. Not only were there seasonings and ground meat, but we also had fresh vegetables, garlic, ginger and a small bag with chocolates and oranges for dessert. We pulled out the bowls, knives, skillet and other dishes for prepping the meal and began working together to make our dinner.

While Colby and Cheyenne managed the knives, the girls and I began browning the meat and cooking the ingredients once they were properly prepped. Once everything was added to the pan and it cooked for a while, the entire suite was filled with the enticing aroma of our meal. Jaden set the table and we patiently waited for our dinner to cook while we enjoyed the comfort of our spacious living area. It only took 10 minutes before dinner was served and we enjoyed our tasty home cooked meal together — in the comfort and privacy of our own room — as a family.
