Disclosure: Thanks to Holiday Inn for partnering with us on our stay in Nashville.

There is no doubt that Nashville, Tennessee is Music City. Everywhere you look, you will find evidence of it. When we pulled into the city the morning of the Country Music Awards, we were delighted to find that Holiday Inn Nashville Vanderbilt was ready and waiting for us. After a red-eye flight from Las Vegas we just needed to sleep and were given the ability to do just that.

The Holiday Inn Nashville Vanderbilt is on the West End of town and is surrounded by beautiful Nashville landmarks. In it’s backyard, you can easily walk across the parking lot to Vanderbilt University and LP Field. Just across the street from the front entrance, another easy walk, you find Nashville’s premier Centennial Park featuring the iconic Parthenon. In fact, this was the incredible view just outside our balcony door.

Waking up to this view every morning was both majestic and calming. Of course, sleeping on the incredibly comfortable and roomy king bed likely played a part in this as well. Climbing into bed each night, we sank into the comfort of it all, cuddled up under the fresh linens and slipped into a quiet night of much needed rest. A peaceful ambiance and friendly staff created an ideal combination of accommodations for a nice, relaxing stay in Nashville.

Although I could have spent my entire time in Nashville nestled in the comfort of the Holiday Inn bed, we were able to get out and enjoy the CMAs and other area attractions. Of course, breakfast was easily handled because we could eat right at the hotel. The onsite restaurant, Commodore Grille, is open for breakfast and dinner and serves up great meals and entertainment in a fun and casual atmosphere. Yes, true to the Nashville way of life, you can catch live entertainment in the restaurant. Absolutely loved that part — and the food was delicious!

In addition to the onsite restaurant, Holiday Inn Nashville Vanderbilt also features:

  • Onsite Dry Cleaning and Laundry Facility
  • Gift Shop and Convenience Store for Sundries
