Elsa costume

Best Halloween Selection

You can imagine with 4 girls in the house that at least one wanted to be a character from Frozen.

Knowing they were most likely on the top of the list of most wanted costumes (Elsa is #1 actually), we made sure to get our order in early!

I was not really up for having to disappoint our “Queen Elsa” by telling her the dress she wanted was not available.

I wish I was videotaping when she opened the box with her costume inside. Her excitement made the early purchase choice mean so much more… and my ears have finally recovered.

But her choice was not the only one that had to be made. In fact, her costume was the easiest. She knew exactly what she wanted to be.

The other kids took a little more browsing. We searched by characters, and themes, and even looked at everything available in their size for ideas.

After all, “Life’s Better in Costume” right?! So, they wanted to make sure they made the right decision.

Knowing my kids, the costumes they picked out from will be worn well into the next year and more.

Dress-up play is an everyday occurrence around here and I have a feeling Queen Elsa and the other characters will be appearing for a while.

Jaden, our forever tomboy, wanted to look outside the “princess” realm and discovered a fun pirate costume.

Our son had a Batman costume and just needed the perfect mask. We found exactly what he needed to complete his costume.

Working with on the Orange Tuesday campaign gave us insight into Halloween trends and great costume ideas.

Browsing the site, sharing posts, and simply following along for the past few weeks, we have a newfound respect for what is “Halloween.”

It’s been an exciting campaign and the kids can’t wait to show off their costumes at the annual trunk-or-treat we attend every year!
