Easy Family Adventure Guides in Gulf County Florida

Gulf County Florida

Not only did we research a variety of family adventures in the local Gulf County Adventure Guide, but we also want to make them into yearly traditions. Everything sounded like so much fun and perfect for our family.

We enjoy being outdoors to simply learn and explore, as well as get a little relaxing in. With a wide selection of adventures to choose from, we could all pick a favorite and start planning!

Kayak Through the Dead Lakes in Gulf County

Kayak Through the Dead Lakes

Having been kayaking only a handful of times, we love the serenity of the water in a kayak. We really love the sound of a guided kayak eco-tour through the mysterious Dead Lakes in Gulf County.

The “stumps” sound amazing and I have no doubt they are a sight to see!

Gulf County baby sea turtle treasure hunt

Turtle Treasure Hunt

Did you know Gulf County has the highest density-nesting beach in North Florida?

And what a better way to really learn about the turtles than to observe them in their natural habitat?!

I love this idea, and, fortunately, the children are excited about it too!

Dolphin Parade

I don’t think there is any ocean animal my children adore more than dolphins. Watching for the marine mammals to surface is a sport that never gets old and the kids never seem to tire from it.

In Gulf County, you can see the “dolphin parade” each day as the dolphins play along the shoreline.

Gulf County horseback riding on beach

Beach Hopping

Personally, I could spend day after day enjoying the beach and all it has to offer. There are plenty of beaches in Gulf County, so we could easily visit a new one each day.

Not to mention, there are plenty of activities to entertain the family while I relax. Activities that include shelling, fishing, bike riding, snorkeling, and even horseback riding. A little bit of something for everyone, really!
