Once upon a time there was this 6 month old baby boy in a blue romper who was sleeping in his mom’s arms. In what seemed to be the blink of an eye, that baby grew up and is now graduating high school That sleeping baby boy? My oldest nephew.  At 2pm CST today he will walk across the stage to get his diploma and I could not be more proud! Love him to pieces!

My brother is a single dad with 4 boys {9, 14, 16, and 18} and, I must admit,  they can give him quite a run for his money at times. But, all in all, they are each amazing in their own ways and I love them so much. They have been through a lot together and have come a long way as a family. Therefore, I can assure you that the tears will be flowing as he walks across that stage! He is the oldest of the grandkids and has overcome some mighty obstacles to get where he is going today.

I hope your dreams take you to the corners of your smiles, to the highest of your hopes, to the windows of your opportunities, and to the most special places your heart has ever known. ~Anonymous
