Chocolate Covered Strawberries for Valentine’s Day

Ok, people… this weekend is crunch time for buying Valentine’s Day presents. You have until Tuesday!

I, unusual as it may seem, am not a fan of flowers. I am allergic to fragrances so most of them just make me itch or sneeze anyways. Plus, well, they die.

I like practical gifts and, fortunately, my husband knows that.

But, I also am not really a “gifts” person. I do not like people spending money on me… again, unusual… I know.

Yet, I will tell you this little secret (which my husband is also very aware of), I will NOT turn down chocolate!

I LOVE chocolate.

So, in light of the impending holiday of “love” I was inspired on Pinterest to make some chocolate covered strawberries this weekend.

We already have the chocolate and we can pick up some strawberries tomorrow.

We actually had a small chocolate fountain at our SuperBowl party last week that included strawberry slices, but it was just not the same.
