Pringles Encrusted Chicken Nuggets

Chicken Nugget Recipe Kids Will Love from Pringles

Five kids in the house means 5 different tastes and opinions on the food we eat. It is not always easy coming up with something every one will actually eat and enjoy.

The one type of food we can usually all agree on is chicken. We typically eat baked chicken and the kids can get tired of having the same thing night after night so we try to shake it up.

I was delighted to find a new recipe from Pringles. Yes! Pringles! I am so bad about thinking outside the box when I cook that I never thought of incorporating chips into my food such as suggested.

And the result? My husband and I discovered a chicken nugget recipe kids will love. All 6… we always have at least one extra child over… kids ate them up!

Pringles encrusted chicken nuggets are one of the easiest and most delicious ways to make chicken nuggets at home. This recipe is sure to be a hit with the whole family, and the best part is that it only takes a few minutes to make.

Let me share the recipe.

Pringles Encrusted Chicken Nuggets

Ingredients

  • Can of Pringles {your choice – we used Original but BBQ or Honey Mustard will be another option we will try next}
  • 2 pounds of boneless chicken breast {cut into nuggets}
  • 2 cups of skim milk {or buttermilk}

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F
  2. After cutting chicken breast into nuggets, place nuggets in milk
  3. Puree Pringles into a fine crumb and then pour into a bag or bowl. (we actually left a few larger pieces in ours)
  4. Drop the nuggets into the bag and shake or roll the nugget in the mixture. (we rolled in the bowl in order to fully cover and see how it worked out)
  5. Spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray and then place the coated chicken nuggets on the tray in a single layer. Bake for 20 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and let stand for 5-10 minutes to allow nuggets to crisp.
  7. Serve and enjoy!

We added a side of Honey Mustard sauce and the kids could not get enough! They loved the nuggets baked in a delicious blend of Pringles and milk.

That was it! Super quick and easy. We added some corn, roasted potatoes, and dinner rolls to the plate and dinner was served… and completely eaten!
