We’ve been sending our kids, often two at a time, off to summer camp for 17 years. This year was no different. We dropped our two middle school girls off for youth camp, and had our youngest left at home.
Celebrate with Barbie
Knowing she was sad about not being at camp, we decided to plan a few things just for her. Knowing how much she loves Barbie dolls, we decided to throw her a Barbie Party to celebrate her. Something to let her know that even though she wasn’t as camp, there was still plenty of fun to be had at home!
Planning the party was made even easier once we stepped inside Party City. Walking the aisles of the store, you can gather supplies, as well as ideas, browsing the many themes featured throughout.
In fact, once you have your theme, in our case, Barbie Party, Party City offers a one-stop shop for all your party needs. With Barbie invitations, decorations, favors, and more, Party City has everything you need to add the right amount of sparkle to your event.
Plus, Party City-branded supplies are a great way to supplement the Barbie Party patterned decor. A pink tablecloth, ice cream cups, cupcake wraps, wooden spoons and a fun headband all helped to make the day even more special.
Of course, what’s more exciting than a present or two — just because. Her sisters came home with souvenirs from summer camp, so we thought she deserved a party souvenir. The Barbie Fashionista line was an excellent gift to remind her how special and unique she truly is!
Luckily we had plenty of Barbie dolls to share with her best friends that came over to celebrate her too. She enjoyed being able to share and the dolls went well with the Barbie Loot Bags we filled to share! Her friends (and I) loved that she so willingly shared.
