Disclosure: The following trip to Branson and Hollywood Wax Museum has been provided courtesy of US Family Guide. All experiences and thoughts are 100% our own.
Among the many things to do in Branson, the Wax Museum is one of the coolest. Fun for all ages, the wax museum features celebrity wax figures from all different eras and genres of television.
When you first arrive at the Hollywood Wax Museum you get the chance to take a really photo like you’re in the hands of King Kong. And after you finish your trek through the museum you have the opportunity to purchase the photo if you’d like. Seriously, we had a blast pretending we were being held hostage in King Kong’s hand, ha! But that isn’t the only photo opp you will get! The whole museum is set up for you to see, photograph, and even pose for pictures with some of your favorite celebrities! Sam died at the chance to sit next to Tom hanks in the “Forrest Gump” scene.
Most of the figures looked exactly like the REAL celebrity we see on tv which I felt a little starstuck at times, ha! Especially when I got to hug my man crush Vin Diesel…What a friend we have in Jesus. Amen.
As you walked through each room the themes changed. From action packed movies, to comedians, and even a little Nascar love, but there was one room that I sped right through. The horror movie room. Those characters looked SO creepy in real life. Sam thought they might have someone jump out to scare us as we walked through that part…thankfully they didn’t, because I would have to bust a cap on them if they had, ha!
So really, the wax museum was fun for all and should be a MUST when you plan your next trip to Branson! To find out more about them and see about ticket prices check out their site.
If there was one character/actor you’d love to run across in a wax museum, who would it be?!
