The Book of Life

The Book of Life is a vibrant fantasy-adventure that tells the legend of Manolo. He is a conflicted hero and dreamer who sets off on an epic quest through magical, mythical and wondrous worlds in order to rescue his one true love and defend his village. Torn between the expectations of his family and following his heart, Manolo must make a choice.

Before deciding which path to take, Manolo embarks on an incredible journey through three fantastical worlds. He is faced with his greatest fears and must learn to press forward.

The Book of Life shows each of us we can celebrate the past while continuing to look forward to the future.

The film stars Channing Tatum, Zoe Saldana, Diego Luna, Ron Perlman, Ice Cube, Danny Trejo, Christina Applegate, Gabriel Iglesias, Cheech Marin, Hector Elizondo and more. It comes to theaters on October 17th. It is directed by Jorge Guttierrez and produced by Guillermo Del Toro.
