This past year has been incredibly challenging for me health-wise.

Stress has manifested itself in many ways since losing my mom two years ago, mostly in physical forms.
Bowflex Max Trainer M8
The combination of the two took a heavy toll on me physically.
The pain and overwhelming loss of blood I experienced during this time left me weak, fatigued, and anemic. Not to mention, the medications had undesirable side effects.
The one with the longest-lasting effect? Weight gain. I gained 14 pounds in about 6 weeks.
Furthermore, considering my age, and current health situation, my metabolism is less than desirable.
Therefore, it’s going to take some work to get back down to a healthy weight. But, I’m up for it!
After all, in addition to having children to motivate me to stay healthy, I have a granddaughter who needs me around for a long while.
And she’s only the first of many (we hope).
Plus, I’ve been trying to get Colby on board this health kick for a while, and I think I’ve finally found the solution: Bowflex!
Bowflex Max Trainer M8
One thing I definitely know about my husband is his affinity for technology. And, fortunately, the Bowflex® Max Trainer® M8 machine is packed with amazing tech!
Through our partnership with Bowflex, we can now kick off a fun competition towards better health! Running our own businesses at home, homeschooling our children, and babysitting our granddaughter doesn’t leave much time for gyms.
But, having a machine at home makes things a lot easier! We can work out day or night at times convenient for us.
Best of all, there’s no one around to see me grunting as I push through the pain. Well, that and I can sing as loud and crazy as I want on the Bowflex (my family’s already used to it).
And, I can finish a full-body workout in 14 minutes!
Speaking of easy, just look at all the features of the Bowflex Max Trainer M8 that help make your workout a cinch at home:
- Compatible with Max Intelligence™ App
- 20 levels of resistance
- Unique burn rate display
- Multi-grip, dynamic handles
- Heart rate monitor (integrated contact grips)
- Bluetooth® heart rate compatible
- Magnetic media rack for tablet or smartphone
- USB charging port
- Enhanced dual-mode LCD/LED screens
You can see what I mean when I said Colby was excited about the technology, right?! This machine is full of it and it’s all designed to help you get fit.
Whether your goal is to lose weight, tone up, or simply get in a good cardio workout, the Max Trainer can help you achieve it!
So, here we go. We have a cruise at the end of August and I’d love to at least be a few pounds closer to my goal weight.
I have no doubt that Bowflex can help me achieve that goal. The test will now be getting and staying in the habit of working out.
Motivation is one thing; action is another!
