Do summer days mean BBQ season for you? They most definitely are around here. I mean, we do live in Texas. We barbecue as often as we can… in any other weather.

BBQ Chicken Salad

BBQ Chicken Salad

But, sometimes I don’t really feel like burgers or hot dogs. I want a salad that can fill me up. That’s when we break out a few greens and add delicious BBQ chicken to the recipe. It is, by far, my favorite recipe!

Those that know me well, know that I actually love the BBQ sauce more than the foods it goes on. My mom often caught me eating all of the sauce before she could get it on the meat.

I simply could not help myself.

KC Masterpiece® Kansas City Classic barbecue sauce pays tribute to the original “Blue Ribbon” blend and is delicious! In fact, it is the perfect addition to our BBQ Chicken Salad recipe.
