2014 Mazda 6 : Family Sedan with Sporty Look
When we opened our garage door and Joeli, our 5-year-old, saw the Soul Red Metallic 2014 Mazda 6 sitting in our driveway she may have done a little dance.
She absolutely loves red cars and this one was definitely a pretty one to look at. Once we slipped inside, there was even more jubilation.

As Colby sat behind the wheel and started the 2014 Mazda 6 Grand Touring with the push of a button, we immediately began checking out the details.
The technology, driver’s dashboard, and simple feel of the interior. The seats were conforming and there was plenty of legroom in both the front and back.
An increased wheelbase meant that even our backseat passengers had room to stretch their legs and move around a bit more.
With three girls across the backseat, more room is always better. No touching while going down the road is necessary sometimes.
Speaking of room in the backseat, we still have one in a car seat. It’s not a big, bulky seat but it still takes a bit more room than just a child back there.
Even with the booster seat taking up one of the spaces, the girls can still have their arms at their sides and move around.
Again, important details when you have a car full.
I know I am stuck on the seats of the 2014 Mazda 6, but when you spend a lot of time in your car, it’s important to be comfortable.
Nothing worse than a cramped ride and sore back and bottom after getting out of the car. The Mazda 6 offers a 6- or 8-way power adjustable driver’s seat… that is also heated.
Plus, with available preset settings, you can adjust your seat once and save the settings. Save a set for another driver and easily transition between the two.
No fumbling with them each time you get into the car. They are already saved and ready for you with just a push of a button.
In addition to the push button start, heated door mirrors, integrated navigation system, remote keyless entry, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, and more, the vehicle offers plenty of convenience features.
There is plenty of smart technology inside the car and it only adds to the incredible sporty look of the exterior.
Colby and I enjoyed the family-friendly sedan without the traditional family look. If you want a sporty look with a functional interior, the 2014 Mazda 6 is definitely a way to go.
The aerodynamic functionality of the vehicle gives it a clean, attractive look without being too muscular. You will find it is both stylish and impressive on the road with power under the hood.
You will find Mazda’s SkyActiv engine under the hood which means better fuel economy and weight savings. Not bad for a family sedan.
